January 2022, sound installation
Poules (Hens) is a sound installation that translates an animal space (pooler) in an immersive human octophonic sound installation (the focus of EDHEA). The installation is broadcast in the entrance hall of the Edhea, during the lunch break. The transposition, via sound, of an animal universe in the daily life of a human life, moreover in its nutritional routine leads to questioning our own animality. The scale of the subjects (hen, 40cm and man 1m80) was respected during the translation into space. This change of scale, distributed in a public space, shakes up the spectator, while he gets used to cohabitation with the gallinaceans.
