Come, come, come!
2024, sound installation, mixed media, milk pot, milk jug, speakers, soundtrack.
This sound installation features a boiler and a milk pot transformed into loudspeakers. ‘Viens, viens, viens!’ gives the floor to these holed and useless containers. we hear hissing, echoes of a past life.
These boilers murmur the milk, the pneumatic milking, the call of breeders.

For the evening of the opening, the artist has brought a more performative touch to thework. She introduced the audio cables into raclette cheese, matured at the Champasse farm in Euseigne. There was, by this process, a distortion of the sound coming out of the boils. The cheese was conductive and to some extent, had a typical distortion pedal effect on the voice that passed into the microphone.
