EXO1000

EXO1000 is a sound system for the deaf language by a combination with sensors connected to a MIDI interface. Each movement involves a particular sound. Movement generates sound? Sound generates movement? 

In the video, sign language transmits a few notes intention. The sign is there to translate a word, soundless; It was about sounding a language that didn’t.
This project is a video (made during the first COVID lockdown), but it is intended to be performative. The device created (combination) will be reused for Other reflections on body, sound and movement.
